Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-07-10

These Terms of Service govern your use of Nethera. Nethera deploys Docker Compose applications to Linux machines you control and provides public HTTPS endpoints through Nethera-managed edge routing.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, using the Nethera CLI, deploying an application, or accessing the dashboard, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use Nethera for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.

2. The service

Nethera helps you run applications on machines you own or control. You install a Nethera agent on a Linux machine, describe services in a Compose-style app spec, and choose which ports should be exposed through Nethera endpoints.

Nethera operates the control plane and edge routing service. Nethera does not host your application database, application files, models, or persistent workload data. Those remain on your machines or in services you choose.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your account, your workspace, your machines, and the applications you deploy. You must keep your credentials, machine tokens, registry credentials, and app secrets secure.

You are responsible for choosing appropriate endpoint authentication. Some applications have their own login system. Others should be protected with Nethera login or token auth. Public endpoints are your responsibility.

4. Applications you deploy

Nethera routes traffic to applications you deploy, but Nethera does not review, validate, scan, or approve those applications. You are responsible for the software running on your machines, including updates, licensing, security configuration, and compliance with law.

You must not use Nethera to expose applications that you are not allowed to run or publish. You are also responsible for any content, data, or behaviour produced by your applications.

5. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Nethera may suspend or terminate accounts, endpoints, machines, or workspaces that violate it, create security risk, abuse the service, or harm other users or third parties.

6. Plans, billing, bandwidth, and overage

Nethera may offer free and paid plans with limits such as machines, endpoints, users, custom domains, and bandwidth. Plan details are shown on the pricing page and in the dashboard.

Paid subscriptions renew until cancelled. If overage is enabled on a plan, bandwidth beyond the included allowance may be charged at the stated overage rate. If billing fails, a subscription expires, or usage exceeds available limits, Nethera may disable or suspend some endpoints or management features until the issue is resolved.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Nethera at any time. You may disable machine management or deregister machines from Nethera. Deregistering a machine stops Nethera from managing and exposing it, but does not automatically stop containers, delete volumes, or uninstall software on your machine.

Nethera may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay charges, create risk for the service, or use Nethera in a harmful or unlawful way.

8. Availability

Nethera is provided as is and as available. The MVP does not include an uptime guarantee, service level agreement, or commitment that every endpoint will always be reachable. Maintenance, internet outages, machine outages, edge failures, DNS issues, and third-party provider issues may affect availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nethera is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Nethera’s total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to Nethera in the three months before the claim, or USD $100 if you have not paid Nethera.

10. Changes

Nethera may change the service, plans, features, and these Terms over time. If the Terms or Privacy Policy materially change, Nethera may require you to accept the updated version before continuing to use the application.
